Dolphin allows you to bump up the resolution-which means playing GameCube games in native HD-and hacks can also get games to run more smoothly. I haven’t tried either of these games with Dolphin before, but I’ve had success with a number of other titles. Their 2003 title, Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike, also utilized memory in a unique way, which made the NTSC version difficult to boot. Without the override, the frame rate fluctuates between 20 and 60 FPS in multiplayer. The video notes that an “Emulated CPU Clock Override” allows the multiplayer portion of the game to be played with a smooth 60 frames-per-second.
